Alberto Miranda

Poet, also interested in issues of regional culture. He attended high school in Bragança before entering the civil service. In 1954, he served as head of Administrative Services for the Road Directorate of the Vila Real District. Having made his book debut with the publication of Musa Incerta (1957), he was awarded 1st prize in the poetry category at the Transmontano Floral Games in 1956 and 1958, and received honorable mentions in similar contests. He has numerous scattered contributions across various publications, especially in the regional press, such as Vilarrealense, A Voz de Trás-os-Montes, O Cávado, Voz Académica, Bairrada, Amigos de Bragança, and Jornal Feminino.
