Diogo da Silveira

Third son of the coudel-mor Fernão da Silveira, he fought in the Battle of Toro, and only two compositions by him survive in the Cancioneiro. He is not among the most gifted in his family, but his father and brothers, as well as two grandsons, established themselves as the most prolific and influential court poets of their day.
