Diogo Fogaça

Poet of the Cancioneiro Geral by Garcia de Resende. Author of five poems, ranging from satire to elegy (one of them in honor of «uma dama muito gorda»), all characterized by an anti-feminist tendency and great formal fluency. He likely died before 1478. He was the father of João Fogaça, vedor da Fazenda, and grandfather of Tristão Fogaça, who is also represented in the Cancioneiro.
