Bio
Portuguese poet known for his intense expression of feelings, the delicacy of the themes addressed, and formal perfection. His compositions, trovas and cantigas, can be found in Garcia de Resende's Cancioneiro Geral (1516).
His work shows classical and Dantean influences, and he is considered one of the precursors of Bernardim Ribeiro.
