Fernando Carvalho Mourão

In addition to the numerous magazines he collaborated with in the 1920s and 1930s, he wrote a «galant episode» in verse, As Rosas (1915), which premiered at the Teatro Nacional in 1912, the comic act Não Me Cheira (with A. Vítor Machado), the comedy Aníbal, César & Cª. (with Pedro Bandeira), and the sacred drama in verse, O Rei dos Judeus, in collaboration with Silva Tavares and José Clímaco (1927). He founded the magazine A Renascença in Lisbon (1914), where Fernando Pessoa debuted as a poet, and was a close friend of the members of Orpheu. Sá-Carneiro dedicated the poem «Não» to him (in Alma Nova, n°. 4, April 1916).
