Ivone Ruivo Guieiro

A trade union official and poet, she was already a dressmaker in Faro from the age of sixteen. At thirty-four, she was employed by the Union of Hotel and Tourism Industry Workers of the Algarve, where she rose to head of services. She emerged in 1961 in Faro's literary circles, through prizes obtained in floral games.
