Leonel da Costa Lusitano

Soldier, poet, and translator. He had a deep knowledge of the Greek and Latin languages. He left in manuscript a six-volume version of the Eneida, which appears to exist at the Biblioteca Nacional de Lisboa, as well as the works of Savonarola, which were never published due to the persecution targeting all books by this famous heretic.
