Luísa Sancho

Painter and poet. Daughter of the writer José Dias Sancho, granddaughter of the poet João Lúcio, and great-grandniece of the painter Henrique Pousão, she left for Lisbon at an early age. She studied in the capital, where she completed her secondary education, after which she dedicated herself to studying foreign languages. She attended the Sociedade de Belas Artes for four years before departing for the United States of America, where she completed Norman Rockwell's Drawing and Painting course. As a poet, she has demonstrated great sensitivity and a refined lyrical style. She contributes to Jornal de Poetas e Trovadores, belongs to the Associação Portuguesa de Poetas, and has published a small glimpse of her poetic talent in book form.
