Maria da Piedade Guerreiro Alexandre

Popular poet. Her education did not go beyond the 2nd grade, and she began working as a child. Life's journey did not favor her, and her health soon declined. She is represented in several poetic anthologies, but were it not for the collaboration of Algarvian municipalities and cultural institutions, she would never have been able to publish her modest poetic work. Known by those close to her as Marquinhas Filipe.
