Maria Isabel Lúpi

Poet, composer, and pianist. Daughter of the poet and lyrical singer Nita Lúpi, she was educated in England at a Catholic college. In 1951, she settled in Angola, where her mother had lived for some time, after marrying José Fialho, a doctor in the Overseas Health Service and a poet. She returned to Portugal in 1975. She is represented in Antologia de Poesias Angolanas, by Maria da Conceição Nobre (Nova Lisboa, today Huambo, Angola, 1957).
