Anadiplosis
From Greek anadiplosis: doubling back. A classical rhetorical scheme used by Cicero and Virgil; adopted in English Renaissance poetry.
Definition
A figure in which the last word or phrase of one clause or line is repeated at the start of the next.
Example
'We shall not flag or fail. To fail is not in our nature.'
