Teobaldo da Câmara

Azorean poet. In 1915 he became acquainted with the poetry of Orpheu, to which he subscribed, and his verses, until then somewhat romantic and almost banal, acquired new formal refinement, flexibility, and certain reflections of the nefelibata jewelry coming from Eugénio de Castro through the Paulist poetry of Armando Côrtes-Rodrigues, his compatriot and friend. He published very little. His poetry is collected in a handwritten (autograph) notebook titled Imperceptíveis.
