Country of clowns

Country of clowns

You ride in the fields with me
While we think about buying that farm
To live isolated from this world
We are tired of injustice
We are tired of fighting for a better country

I see, you lost hope
I see, it's better to be an idiot and deny reality
Was the light at the end of the tunnel just a train?
So every now and then we watch news
We see the same corrupt men in suits
Giving his fake heroic speeches
Being glorified by a herd of cattle

I ask you, is that why we fight?
I ask you, is that why we went to the streets?
If we are still ruled by clowns
If we are the nation's traitors
