Mama

Mama
You have been
Dead for 27 years now
And I must say to you
I am not the old Aldo
You used to know
Also you used to say that
I was not fully grown up
But every day when I
Heard
You saying that
My feelings got very hurt
And I also got very upset
I was a men back then
You didn't allow me to have
Friends
You used to tell me also
That I didn't know how to socialize
With people
But you also never allowed me
To have
Freedom in my life
Mama
Today if you were here
To see the matured Aldo
I became
Today I am 58 years old
Mama
Also I am having lots of
Freedom
In my life
I just love that you are
Dead
Because I can have my
Life
And be matured
Also you hated so much
My poetry
But today   I been writing poems
For 27 years
And I will never stop to
Write
Poems because it is therapy
For me
Mama
I still have my life  here
On earth
And I have good friends
That supports me in
My daily life
Mama
I hope you are resting in
Heaven
Mama
The day I die I will go to
Heaven
And there we will be
Re united again

The accumulated days wither the garden

The accumulated days wither the garden
Almost asleep, my heart searches for the design
Everything that was fades into the mist
Everything that was gets lost in the foam
I walk alone
The paths we traced slowly fade
Forgetting becomes cold like a big coat
Time undoes our old edges
A passage without any sound at daybreak
The shadow slips through the hands
Extinguished echoes
Scattered now
Remains the trace
Almost nothing
The accumulated days wither the garden
Almost asleep, my heart searches for the design
Everything that was fades into the mist
Everything that was gets lost in the foam
I walk alone
The wound sings
Light bursts forth
Not too uncertain
Free now
Only what is lived here
Forgetting protects
Wool coat
Far from sorrow
Becoming destiny
The accumulated days wither the garden
Almost asleep, my heart searches for the design
Everything that was fades into the mist

If tomorrow never comes

If tomorrow never comes
I am not sure if I will be
Here tomorrow
If my father keeps me alive
Tomorrow I will be happy
I also know that I only live once
I won't live forever
So I must live my life
Every day to the fullest
We must choose peace
Not war
We must put our guns down
And stop training children to be soldiers
In the war
Children has the right to an education
Children have the right to be children
And to play with other children
Where it is safe
Give the children a roof over their heads
Feed those that are starving
Give the children some water for them to drink
Because they are dehydrated
Give the children a bed to sleep on
Give the children some clothes to wear
Stop child labor
Teach the children to pray
God keep the children alive every day
God wash the people's feet
God teach the people to fish for fish
People you can't live alone
You need friends in your live
Because without friends you will be
Living in Isolation
People use the gifts that God gave you
Don't let it go to waste

Broken promises

What about sunrise
What about the falling rain
What about the things you said
The things you said we were to gain
Everything we would gain
Crimson sky is cold
Empty promises you told
Now the light is grey
Watching futures fade away
Just shadows today
Broken words
Fading bird
Still I hear
What about sunrise
What about the falling rain
What about the things you said
The things you said we were to gain
Everything we would gain
Killing fields are wide
No more places left to hide
Is there still a time
Before we leave it all behind
The yours and mine
Broken words
Fading bird
Still I hear
What about sunrise
What about the falling rain
What about the things you said
The things you said we were to gain
Everything we would gain
Look at the ground
No holy sound
Left in this town
Tears coming down
What about sunrise
What about the falling rain
What about the things you said
The things you said we were to gain
Everything we would gain
