Publius Vergilius Maro, known in Portuguese as Virgil, was a poet of Ancient Rome, celebrated for his epic work "The Aeneid". Besides "The Aeneid", he wrote the "Bucolics" and the "Georgics", which explore pastoral and agricultural themes, respectively.
