Dizem que todo poeta tem a sua musa,
Pois sem ela não há inspiração,
E sem inspiração não há poemas.

E o que penso sobre isso?
Concordo plenamente, e digo mais,
Pois penso que, também,
Um poeta sem a sua musa é um poeta sem alma.

Do you know what they say about poets?
They say that every poet hath got his muse,
Because without her, there is not any inspiration,
And without inspiration, there are not any poems.

And what do I think about that?
I heartily agree about that and I say more,
Because I also think that a poet
Without his muse is a soulless one.
