Marcel Marien

Marcel Marien is recognized for his contribution to the surrealist movement, especially through poetry and photography. His poetic work, often concise and impactful, explores the unconscious and the marvelous. As a photographer, Marien used innovative techniques to create enigmatic and disturbing images that challenge the perception of reality. He founded and directed the magazine "Les Lèvres nues", an important vehicle for disseminating surrealist ideas in Belgium.
