Hope and Optimism

She would rather light a candle than curse the darkness, and her glow has warmed the world.

There is no hope without fear, and no fear without hope.

If Winter comes, can Spring be far behind?

There’s a gude time coming.

Human life begins on the far side of despair.

Hope springs eternal in the human breast:

The power of positive thinking.

What though the field be lost?

Suns, that set, may rise again;

The triumph of hope over experience.
