SONNET 093

Oh, Sheila's sheen of sheer silk sheets outshone
Sunshines with shock that shivered, shuddered, shook
The shale mounts showed the shoulders she'll cry on.
At shingly shores she'll shoot her shining look.
To ships that sheered off shoals of shame she'll shout.
Her shimmer shifts their shapes: if shards were she
She'd shatter shackles she'd worn, shambling out
And share the sharp sword, sheath and shield with me.
On shells where she's lived shellac she can shed.
From showers shelter she'll take, shorn like sheep
And shun her shuttered shack and shabby bed.
My sugar shuts her shy eyes shamming sleep.
I'm sure that shortly should stars shine like Sheila
No show of shade and shadows shall conceal her!
